John Essman and Kathleen Palmer have been business and life partners since 1983. They formed a business consulting service in 1984 called Organizational Dimensions.

Personal Dimensions evolved in 1991 as their interests broadened to include personal wellbeing as a vital part of an overall business success strategy, and as they found ways to help people achieve both health and wealth.
